2025 Puerto Galera and Apo Reef Dive Trip

Immerse yourself in the spectacular with Dive Outdoors' exclusive trip to Puerto Galera, Philippines. From December 7 to December 15, 2025, experience the wonders of one of the world's most diverse underwater ecosystems. This journey is not just a dive trip; it's an exploration of the extraordinary.

A Biodiversity Hotspot Located just hours south of Manila Philippines, Casalay at Puerto Galera is renowned for its incredible diving and snorkeling experiences. Situated at the northern tip of the Coral Triangle, this destination offers a visual feast of marine biodiversity, making it a dream destination for every underwater enthusiast.

The resort where we will be staying is just 2.5 years old.  Located on a beautiful jungle-clad hillside with two beautiful pools and a beach that is perfect for snorkeling, Casalay is the perfect vacation for both families and individuals, divers and non-divers.  There is great snorkeling right in front of the resort, as well as lounge chairs around the pools, massages, kayaks and paddle boards. And if you'd like, you can take a water taxi to further explore the island.

In addition to Puerto Galera, we are offering an additional excursion to Apo Reef.  Apo Reef is the largest reef system in the Philippines and is a marine protected area (a National Park) located just 15 miles from Mindoro Island (where Casalay is located).  The diving at Apo Reef (in a world of superlatives) is epic!  You will see reef sharks, turtles, and all manner of reef fish!  Diving here is an excellent supplement to Puerto Galera and Verde Island, offering  a completely different reef environment.  Apo Reef is also great for non-divers, offering the opportunity to wander the island, exploring mangroves, bird colonies, with snorkeling/free diving opportunities.

Insurance Requirements

To ensure your peace of mind and safety, please purchase trip insurance when booking your trip and obtain dive insurance prior to your flight if you do not already have it. Travel insurance is essential for protecting against unexpected trip cancellations. For dive-related injuries, we recommend securing dive accident insurance through providers like DAN (Divers Alert Network) or Dive Assure. Ensuring you have both types of insurance will safeguard your travel investment and health during your diving adventure.
